To keep master record item assignment from expiration, a resource must satisfy the currency requirement associated with this record item. A currency requirement typically consists of one or more recurrent record item,. Each record item has one or more assignment conditions which the resource need to fulfill.

As long as the recurrent record item assignments of a resource remain valid, the master record item assignment also remains valid. However, if the resource fails to meet at least one condition, the master record item assignment will automatically expire.

Das lässt sich so zusammenfassen, dass Record Items, die für die Verlängerung einer Qualification zuständig sind, als Recurrent Record Item bezeichnet werden.

Der Begriff Recurrent wird in MINT nur in diesem Zusammenhang verwendet.
